COACH+ is excited to share some happy news: we’re officially partnered with the Nipissing District Soccer Club (NDSC). Together, we aim to strengthen coaching across the club by investing more intentionally in the people who lead its teams. Beginning in the upcoming 2026 season, this collaboration will introduce a series of semi-structured learning opportunities designed to support coaches at different stages of development.
On April 16th, NDSC and COACH+ gathered for their spring group development session. We engaged in rich, honest discussions and set the tone for the upcoming season. By participating in development initiatives beyond mandatory training, these coaches demonstrate their commitment to their role and their athletes.
In the fall, following the soccer season, the coaches will congregate for a second in-person session.
These sessions bring coaches together to examine the coaching environment and explore practical responses to current challenges, reflection, performance analysis, and culture.
The sessions will be organized with the diverse experiences of NDSC coaches in mind. Newer coaches will focus on building strong foundations, understanding club dynamics, and developing habits that support long-term coaching growth. More experienced coaches will engage in deeper conversations around leadership and strategies for sustaining high-quality coaching environments.
In addition to the group learning sessions, COACH+ Founder and Lead Coach Developer Glenn Cundari will work directly with four NDSC coaches through a season-long, individualized development process. These coaches will receive tailored support through comprehensive onboarding, ongoing conversations, and real-time observation during games and practices to help shape a meaningful development path.
Glenn comments on this new partnership:
“When organizations invest their time and energy in what they know truly matters, like coaching, it reflects a level of leadership that many others simply don’t demonstrate. Working with clubs that take a progressive approach, like NDSC, is always impactful and a lot of fun.”
We believe our shared commitment has the potential to create lasting impact across coaching, the athlete experience, and the broader club community.
Vice President of NDSC, Rob Celebre, captures exactly why these organizations are special, and how they fit perfectly with our vision at COACH+:
“We value our coaches. We know they are always looking to improve and we owe it to them to support their development beyond checking boxes. Partnering with COACH+ will give our club and coaches an opportunity to dig deeper with them. We are excited!”
We’re excited, too. Thank you for trusting us with your coaches, NDSC!
