CORE VALUES

Core values are behaviours that we consider not just worthwhile, but represent our highest priorities, deeply held beliefs, and core, fundamental driving forces. These values are the compass that guides our interaction with organizations and coaches and informs all our internal decision making.

WE RELENTLESSLY IMPROVE.

WE PUT PEOPLE FIRST. EVERY PERSON HAS THE LIMITLESS POTENTIAL TO DEVELOP.

WE BUILD GENUINE RELATIONSHIPS THAT FACILITATE, EMBRACE AND DRIVE CHANGE.

WE EMBRACE THE CHAOS OF COACHING.

WE PREFER TO ASK QUESTIONS THAN TO MAKE STATEMENTS.

WE ARE KEEN TO HAVE DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS WHEN THE END-GAME IS IMPROVEMENT.

WHAT WE ARE, WHAT WE DO

PURPOSE

We love coaches. We do more than provide information to coaches. We invest energy in coaches. We focus on current, coach-centric, evidenced-informed content, facilitated in a fun, creative environment, while using adult learning principles.
When supporting a coach’s development, we know stories, experiences and anecdotes are critical, but we won’t put up with myths, inaccurate assumptions and pseudo science.

WHAT WE ASPIRE TO BE

VISION

To communities of coaches, we aim to be the fire-starters of learning and supporters of relentless improvement.

WHO IS THE FOUNDER, GLENN CUNDARI?

Glenn is proud to call North Bay, Canada his home. Dedicated to finding new information anywhere possible, Glenn has worked in almost 20 countries, learning and sharing his absolute passion – supporting sport coaches in their quest to improve.

He started on this journey at 18 years old, as an assistant coaching of a youth ice hockey team. Since then, he has been a coach and administrator in six sports; baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, triathlon and cross-country running.

After years as a volunteer coach in multiple sports, Glenn has honed his coaching skills as a PGA of Canada professional golf coach for almost two decades. In 2012, his interest and passion of supporting other coaches lead to him becoming a full-time Coach Developer in 2012.

Cundari is a Master Coach Developer within the Coaching Association of Canada’s, National Coach Certification Program (NCCP). He was part of the original team that developed the Golf Canada’s Long Term Player Development Guide and continues to speak and work on Long-Term Athlete Development projects domestically and around the world.

Cundari was a member of a five-country working group that developed the International Coaching Framework on behalf of the International Golf Federation and the International Olympic Committee. He is a recent graduate of the multi-sport Nippon Sport Science University, Coach Developer Academy in Tokyo, the only coach developer academy in the world. Recently, he returned to Tokyo to instruct in the same program.

In March of 2019 Glenn will embark on one of his proudest roles to date; Head Golf Coach of Team Canada at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, an event that will see 7,500 athletes, from 190 countries compete.

With the support of his wife Michelle and two children, in the spring of 2018, Glenn founded COACH+. A company designed, primarily, to assist sport clubs and associations effectively support the development of their coaches.
